Abell Auctions has been a family-run, serviced-oriented business since 1916.Originally a furniture store in Los Angeles, founder A.N. Abell bought the business from a family member in 1912, changed the name to Liberty Auctions and transformed it into a successful antique store with a rich and beautiful tradition. Liberty Auctions was eventually relocated to West Adams, renamed A.N. Abell Auction Company.

With a century of experience in fine art and antiques, Abell offers a number of extraordinary objects with its weekly estate auctions every Thursday featuring over 1,000 items including fine furniture and furnishings, jewelry, silver, paintings and prints, along with an eclectic assortment of household and other items. Quarterly, Abell offers a catalogued auction of antiques, fine art and decorations. Highlights have ranged from European to Chinese, traditional to contemporary, and exquisite silver and jewelry to singular sculptures and paintings.
